Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince of Riyadh His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman Chairs the 11th Meeting of the General Assembly of the King Salman Center for Disability Research and the 14th Meeting of the Co-Founders Association

Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Prince of Riyadh, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Salman Center for Disability Research, chaired the 11th Meeting of the General Assembly and the 14th Meeting of the Center's Co-Founders, hosted by Co-Founder Abdullah Saleh Al-Othaim at his home on Wednesday evening, December 8, 2021. 4/5/1443H 

At the beginning of the meeting, HRH Prince Sultan expressed to the attendees the welcome of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz -May Allah protect him- and his hopes to al success for all. During HRH's speech on this occasion thanked and appreciated "the Center's Co-founder" for the support and support of the issues of disability and individuals with disabilities -May Allah protect him- at various levels. He referred to the outstanding care of all matters concerning individuals with disabilities, which gave an incentive for workers in the field to take firm steps towards achieving successes and achievements and led to the recognition of various programs and initiatives by the country that serve the cause of disability and individuals with disabilities in particular.

 During the General Assembly meeting, the strategic plan of the center (2020-2025) has been approved, as well as the approval of the strategic plan for investment and financial resources of the center, and reviewed and implemented several issues, including the appointment of Dr. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz AlTamimi, Secretary-General of the Center, the authorization of Mr. Tariq bin Abdulrahman AlSadhan, a member of the Board of Trustees, as financial supervisor of the center for the fifth session, and the integration of the membership of Samba Financial Group and The National Commercial Bank under the name of The National Bank of Saudi Arabia, and the joining of Saud bin Mohammed AlOwais to the Co-founders, Boeing Saudi Arabia. As Co-founding members of the center, the approval of the estimated budget for 2022 and the Board was briefed on a number of reports issued by the center's implementation committees. 

After the meeting, the program of the 14th meeting ceremony of the founders of the center began with a visual presentation on the launch of the sensory rooms program at King Khalid International Airport, one of the center's projects, and then the audience listened to an additional speech HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, during which he thanked the founders and supporters of the center for their contributions that were thanks to Allah for the successes reached by the center, and confirmed that the efforts of the of nation's citizens , Companies, banks, associations, charities, and families have led to pioneering achievements witnessed by all, as HRH pointed out the development stages that the center is going through based on the scientific methodology studied, pointing out that the center has become a vibrant institution that interacts with issues of individuals with disabilities and at the highest, levels, which makes it the world's leading in addressing the issue of disability and working to reduce its spread in cooperation with its partners from the international research centers on addressing the issues of individuals with disabilities, under the slogan "Science that benefiting people."

The meeting's host, Co-founder Abdullah Saleh Al-Othaim, presented -the Co-founders speech-. He referred to Saudi Arabia's efforts to support the issue of disability and the valued interest of HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in supporting disability causes and individuals with disabilities in particular. The program ended with a dinner party for the occasion.
